David Pasbrig, piano
David
Pasbrig has performed as soloist and with chamber ensembles throughout the United
States, Canada and Korea. He has
been heard in such places as The Kennedy Center, Seoul Performing Arts Center
and The Academy of Music Ballroom. Recent
performances include engagements at the Scotia Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia,
with the Luzerne Chamber Music Festival and with the West Jersey Chamber Music
Society. As a chamber musician he
has collaborated with many artists including Sergiu Schwartz, Elizabeth Pitcairn
and the Conwell Woodwind Quintet. Originally
from Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Pasbrig has studied at The Peabody Conservatory, The
Banff Centre for the Arts, and Temple University where he earned a Doctorate in
piano performance. His teachers include
Marian Hahn, Charles Abramovic, Lambert Orkis and Harvey Wedeen.
A dedicated teacher himself, Mr. Pasbrig is currently Director of Keyboard
Studies at Luzerne Music Center and teaches at Haverford College, Bryn Mawr College
and Temple University.
